Stopped by @nahdogs_stpete new brick and mortar (they’re put down roots from just having their hot dog cart) restaurant and loved the vibe and the dogs! Of course we had to have a Chicago style and don’t know why I never asked what kind of vegan franks they use and turns out they’re@lomalinda_brand ones. I always thought I’d never tried those before but I guess I have as I’ve been having their delicious creations for years. 🤷🏻‍♂️ They even have their own signature candle (think of a smoky, Chicago style dog vibe) and fun swag so definitely check them out if you’re in sunny St. Pete, FL. They’re great people with a great vision so get your buns over there! 🌭

The new Trader Joe’s frozen mango sticky rice I posted was coming on July 5 should be hitting store freezers this week! 🥭🍚 I believe I was the first to post it was coming and it got a lot of people talking especially about missing the mango sticky rice spring rolls they used to have years ago. Not sure if this will be similar. It’s both vegan and gluten-free and should be $4.69 for two servings. It’s national cheesecake day and here are a few store-bought options and some of my own recipes should you decide to celebrate! 🎉 The new @daiyafoods cheesecake bites are now at Sprouts with more stores coming soon. Daiya also has their NY style cheezecake in stores and Ben & Jerry’s has their strawberry cheezecake flavor still available. Not many options it’s true. There used to be more. Anyone remember the Trader Joe’s mini cheese-less cheesecakes or Oatzarella brand ones? I also have some amazing no-bake recipes and a traditional baked peanut butter version as well. Yves Veggie Cuisine is officially coming back this summer and I’ve been on this story since day one. The confirmed products returning are Veggie Bologna, Veggie Ham, Veggie Turkey, Original Veggie Ground Round and Mexican Veggie Ground Round. The catch for us in the U.S.A. is that this is Canada only for now with no American distribution announced yet. Dollar Tree finds! 💸 It’s classic summerween time when summer and fall foods collide. There’s also a pumpkin spice Brim’s twist but my store didn’t have them out yet. The Swedish style candies are a steal for $1.25 and there’s lots of other fun snacks!
