I was asked this week to be a guest on WUSF Florida Matters Live and Local, NPR’s Tampa Bay station, and it marked a first for Big Box Vegan. While I’m no stranger to radio having done plenty of interviews back in my days as the front man for my band in the 90s, this was the first time I’ve been invited to talk about my platform in this kind of setting and it was an exciting opportunity to tell my story and explain what I do.
Host Matthew Peddie and I covered a lot of ground including what Big Box Vegan is all about, vegan grocery accessibility, and what it meant to win the 2026 VegNews Veggie Award for Favorite Vegan Instagrammer.
