If you’ve ever wished for a vegan version of classic Peeps, there may be good news on the horizon. Good Mallow, a plant-based marshmallow company, is hinting at bunny-shaped marshmallows in its “coming soon” section, a move that could finally bring a vegan Peep-style marshmallow to market. While the company hasn’t announced an official release date, this is the closest we’ve seen yet to a plant-based take on the seasonal favorite.
Who are Good Mallow?
For those who haven’t heard of them, Good Mallow specializes in vegan, gelatin-free marshmallows that are soft, fluffy, and perfect for baking, hot cocoa, s’mores, or snacking. Their products are designed to appeal to a wide range of dietary needs as they are vegan, dairy-free, kosher, halal, gluten-free, and free from artificial dyes.
What’s available now?
Good Mallow offers classic marshmallow shapes that come in flavors like vanilla bean, raspberry, lemon meringue and strawberry, and are currently often available on Amazon and Walmart. I’ve added them to my Amazon storefront here.
Are filled marshmallows also coming soon?
The company isn’t stopping at traditional varieties as it looks like filled marshmallows are also in development as a hazelnut flavor has also shown up in their “coming soon” section. And of course, the shaped marshmallows, including bunny-style Peeps, could be a game-changer for seasonal vegan treats.
While no release dates have been confirmed, the expansion of Good Mallow’s lineup shows a commitment to bringing more variety to the vegan marshmallow market. For anyone looking to enjoy marshmallows without gelatin or animal products, Good Mallow might be a brand to watch.
