Dandies is expanding its presence at Walmart with chocolate-flavored vegan marshmallows expected to arrive in early November. The retailer is also carrying Dandies Vegan Marshmallow Cream, although availability has been spotty.
The new Dandies Chocolate Flavored Vegan Marshmallows offer a chocolate twist in a different size. They’re smaller than Dandies’ regular marshmallows but bigger than its minis, making them a new option for snacking, hot chocolate and vegan s’mores. The chocolate variety is already sold in the UK, and now is making its way to US Walmart stores.
Dandies Vegan Marshmallow Cream, a plant-based alternative to traditional marshmallow fluff, is now expanding to more shelves there too. I found it at just one local Walmart near me so far, but I was also able to order it for delivery through Walmart+, which may be a useful option for subscribers who can’t find it in stores. While not a brand new item, it has been harder to find at Walmart although Whole Foods, Sprouts and other regional retailers have been carrying it for a few years. Reviews at Walmart go back to 2025 so if you’ve been able to score it there before now, lucky you! I personally have not seen it on shelves there until now.
Bringing these products to a major retailer like Walmart gives shoppers another way to find vegan marshmallow options and Walmart’s mainstream pricing and Walmart+ delivery program may also make them more accessible, although prices and availability may vary by location.
Look for the chocolate marshmallows beginning in early November, and check your local Walmart or Walmart.com for the marshmallow cream as availability expands.
