New Sparkables Vegan Girl Scout Cookies for 2027

Girl Scout Cookie season is still a few months away, but we already have some big news for 2027. Girl Scouts of the USA has announced a brand-new vegan cookie called Sparkables, developed in partnership with the brand Partake.

The new Sparkables are crunchy oatmeal cookies loaded with chocolate chips and topped with colorful sprinkles. They’re also the first Girl Scout Cookie specifically developed as an allergy-friendly option, and they’re vegan, gluten-free and made without any of the nine major food allergens.

As someone who has been following vegan Girl Scout Cookie options for years with my annual guide, I’m pretty excited about this one. Thin Mints have long been the dependable vegan choice, while other vegan options can depend on which Girl Scout Cookie baker serves your local troop. So adding a completely new certified vegan cookie to the lineup for everyone is a pretty big deal.

I also like that Girl Scouts partnered with Partake for this. Rather than taking an existing cookie and making it vegan, Sparkables were developed with allergy-friendly baking in mind from the start. An oatmeal chocolate chip cookie with colorful sprinkles sounds like a pretty fun addition to the lineup.

The big catch is that Sparkables will be online-only, so you won’t find them at local Girl Scout Cookie booths. They’ll be available for direct shipping beginning January 12, 2027, when the national cookie season kicks off.

They Also Have New Dog Treats

Girl Scouts is also introducing Patch Pals, a blueberry muffin-flavored soft-baked treat for dogs, in partnership with BARK. These are reportedly not vegan, but they are meant for dogs and some vegans don’t impose their beliefs and food choices on their pets although that’s a personal decision.

My Vegan Girl Scout Cookie Guide

I’ll be adding Sparkables to my annual Vegan Girl Scout Cookie Guide for the 2027 season. That’s where I keep track of which Girl Scout Cookies are vegan, including the differences between the two major bakers and what you can find depending on where you live.

If you’re a vegan Girl Scout Cookie fan, bookmark my guide now and check back when cookie season begins in January. There will be a new cookie to add to your shopping list.
