Fall & Holiday Vegan Grocery Finds 2026 (Updated Weekly)

After breaking the news about Chobani discontinuing their oat milk line, the response was overwhelming. Most were very dismayed and expressed it was their favorite option but others accused me of lying and that I was the only one reporting it. The backstory is I got a message from a follower saying they had called and gotten a response from Chobani that the line was being discontinued and wanted me to know. I reached out to their social team and they confirmed it. I called myself and was told the same news and then I contacted them via their website and officially got the email in the additional slide. I know it’s not what you want to hear but it’s confirmed that by the end of September, stores won’t be restocking. I was both surprised and saddened that some would think I might make this up or that I didn’t research it fully but I’ve been doing this account for 8 years now and have built a reputation on breaking news in the vegan space and hope I can be trusted. The old adage “don’t shoot the messenger” is one I wish more would adopt. I’m reporting news good and bad although there’s been more bad lately and I’m sorry for that. As to the real reasons why the company is phasing this line out is anyone’s guess but remember, they are a dairy company first and foremost and this most likely represented a small portion of their overall revenue. Some Walmart finds! 🛒 Seasonal Belvita flavors are back, spotted some vegan friendly chocolates in the Kosher section, a Milky Way pudding mix I’ve not seen before, cocoa loops, Halloween Oreos, and a few Great Value canned rolls and biscuits without l-cysteine like Pillsbury. Re: that l-cysteine issue, I still haven’t gotten a clear answer from Pillsbury regarding the fact that some recent seasonal packaging crescent rolls didn’t contain it (it’s derived from bird feathers if you didn’t know). All they would say is that “recipes change” and “check the package”. Sigh… Also spotted some snack packs of gluten-free Oreos. Happy Monday!

Trader Joe’s new granola butter that I let everyone know about in advance is now on shelves. Tj’s seasonal apple cinnamon sourdough is back. New @daiyafoods personal sized pizzas spotted at Whole Foods. @smartsweets dream puffs (we love these) also spotted at Whole Foods. @silk protein larger bottles now with 17g per serving spotted at BJs Wholesale but should also be at Sam’s Club too. New rice milk @sanderscandy sea salt caramels spotted at Whole Foods. Spotted some baklava at Whole Foods. Aldi has seasonal creeping back onto shelves. Sprouts finds!🌱 🧁 The new @abesmuffins cupcakes are a Sprouts exclusive, more fall things and seems banana might be the new pistachio. 🍌

Spotted some things at Publix. The @gabilasknishes jalapeño seem new to me and had no shelf tag yet. The other prices? SMH This is why I only buy bogos there…💸

Trader Joe’s fall drops are coming sooner than you think and consider this your vegan autumn preview. 🎃🛒🍂 The Halloween Joe Joe’s got pulled right after they released last year due to quality issues so hopefully that’s been fixed for this year. Not sure if everything else is returning as they like to discontinue things on the regular, but most should be back and hopefully some new things are in the works (vegan Halloween marshmallow peeps-style treats I hope!). SAVE this for your fall run when the time comes! Generally, items start coming out end of August with their “pumkinpalooza” date being sometime around the first week of September traditionally so it could coincide with Labor Day week!

Looks like @dolesunshine has been busy whipping up some partnerships recently! 🍍🍓🍊 New dairy free canned whipped toppings with @whiptdreams have already been spotted at @stopandshop stores. Thanks to @snack_time_tommy for the pic! There’s also new pudding mixes on the way to stores that seem vegan friendly (yes, mono and diglycerides and natural flavors are often an unknown) and are to be made with milk. Using vegan milks has always been a bit tricky with instant pudding mixes and I usually use one that’s creamier with more protein like soy and use a third less than what’s called for on the box. How these will perform, I do not know but there’s even a pie recipe that calls for two boxes. Thanks to @candyhunting for the heads up on these!
