Let’s start off 2026 with some great news! 🐰 Vegan Peeps finally? Good Mallow (a company I’ve just become aware of) is teasing bunny-shaped marshmallows in their coming-soon section of their website plus filled marshmallows!! 👀 As to when they’re coming is not known but hopefully by spring. They may be online only but could show up in retail. Time will tell. Their classic vegan marshmallows (including fun flavors like raspberry and lemon meringue) are already available on Amazon (link in bio in my storefront) and Walmart. 🧁 Sprinkles Cupcakes Closing Stores 😲 America’s first cupcake chain will be shutting down all physical locations after today with little warning. From its long-running vegan red velvet to rare flash vegan drops like the Noah Schnapp TBH hazelnut cupcake and the Miyoko’s Creamery collab, this brand helped shape the modern cupcake era including early mainstream vegan options. I broke down what happened on my blog. It’s no secret 2025 felt a bit scaled back for vegan product launches, with seemingly fewer big drops than in past years so it will be interesting to see what 2026 brings. ✨ What do you want to see in 2026? 2025 was a tough year for vegan TJ’s fans 😢 Here’s some staple vegan items that disappeared from shelves from pepperoni to just this week, the vegan cheddar savory squares crackers and many more. Some new items hitting store shelves now plus one coming soon! ✨ @reeses has released a “limited time only” PB&J filled pretzels tub which should be out in some stores now. You can web search the item name or try using @instacart for availability near you. Big thanks to @candyhunting for the info! @mccormickspice has some limited edition finishing sugars coinciding with the new season of @bridgertonnetflix but only this lavender vanilla flavor is vegan friendly. The others contain milk. Trader Joe’s has some new prebiotic sodas coming soon. Don’t know the exact release date nor do I know the ingredients but they are kosher pareve so they would seem to be vegan friendly as most sodas are. You can always check their “what’s new” section on their website and most releases show up there the beginning of the week they should be on shelves. ➡️ Swipe to see the ingredients for the pretzels and sugar. 💔 Another plant-based brand bites the dust. Konscious Foods has officially closed its doors, joining several other vegan brands facing tough times in 2025. As someone who’s watched this industry grow, it’s hard not to feel the sting, especially when innovation and taste were clearly there. 🌱 What does this mean for 2026 and beyond?
