Is Erewhon the most expensive grocery store in America? 🛒💸 I stopped into their location near LAX and while the prices can definitely be eye-opening, the shelves are packed with some really interesting vegan brands. From premium ice cream to imported chocolate and small-batch snacks, it almost feels like a curated showcase of high-end vegan products. I grabbed a falafel wrap for the flight home ($17!) and got a coconut soft serve. I wrote a full blog post breaking down the prices and the experience. Comment LINK and I’ll send it to you. Spotted @wholefoods California in El Segundo. NEW @mycraftycounter Wundereggs chorizo and eggs protein scramble! Also spotted the vegan @yumearth chocolate bunny filled with jelly beans, local @rockenwagnerbakery vegan brioche bread and buns, @bigmountainfoods tofus, @kitehillfoods protein cream cheese, @eatjust power jacks pancake mix, the new 365 soy strips, @matzoproject brownie mix and @millsie_foods cheeses! That’s a wrap on @natprodexpo ExpoWest in Anaheim for 2026! 🎬 Here are some of my personal favorites I tried during the three days walking the floors of each hall (and there are many!). @naturescharm ube condensed milk was delicious. Not sure what I’d use it for yet but I’m sure I’ll find something! @myforestfoods pulled pork was incredible and a Nexty award winner at the show! 🎉 Super smoky and flavorful. I think this makes two years in a row they’ve won so maybe next year for a three-peat? @snackbacktonature white chedda cheezy crackers were great and something I know a lot of you are looking forward to trying. @elnachochip pineapple BBQ chips were one of the highlights for me. Smoky and sweet, they were amazing. @jojos coconut pretzels made with @fitjoy are coming out soon and we’re so tasty. Can’t wait to see these on shelves. @rittersport_usa plant based chocolate bars were definitely an unexpected return and this new flavor is exceptional. @switch_foods is a brand I was unfamiliar with but is definitely on my radar now. Unique plant based meat options I’ve not seen before. @wayfare_foods brown sugar cinnamon stick butter was definitely a highlight and I can’t wait to see it in stores. @truedates flavored dates were the best amongst the many this show with their caramel popcorn being a particular favorite. @micheles_granola almond croissant granola is out in stores and definitely worth your attention. @eatmezcla bars are all great but this new flavor was berry delicious! @olbasremedies always has a special place in my heart (and nose!) and I’d not tried their tea before but I’m a convert now! NEW @morningstarfarms vegan chick’n items have popped up on their website. Chick’n breasts with garlic herb sauce and wings with buffalo + BBQ sauce (looks like some of each pictured and some you probably have to sauce your own but not sure yet). Ingredients for the chick’n with garlic sauce: Chik'n Breast (Water, Soy Protein Concentrate, Vegetable Oil [Corn, Palm, Canola and/or Sunflower], Wheat Gluten, Soy Protein Isolate, Contains 2% or Less of Methylcellulose, Salt, Natural Flavors, Potassium Salt, Cornstarch, Wheat Flour, Yeast Extract, Yeast), Garlic and Herb Sauce (Water, Shallots, Canola Oil, Modified Corn Starch, Contains 2% or Less of Garlic, Distilled Vinegar, Sugar, Dried Garlic, Salt, Dried Bell Peppers, Onion Powder, Spices, Natural Flavor, Yeast Extract, Xanthan Gum, Lactic Acid, Sodium Citrate, Calcium Disodium EDTA for Freshness). [AD] 🧈 A few weeks ago I wrote about why vegan butter sticks are disappearing from shelves and then Wayfare shows up to Expo West and says “hold my milk.” 🥛 They’re debuting new butter sticks in four varieties: Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Garlic Herb, Salted and Unsalted, plus their regular line of amazing products (including their incredible cream cheese). I’ve been a fan for years and am so excited to partner with them. The formulations check all the right boxes too: no palm oil, allergen-friendly, simple clean ingredients that are good for you and the planet. 🌎 This is exactly the kind of brand energy this category needs right now. They’re not cutting corners and that matters to me, and I hope to you too. The sticks aren’t available just yet, but follow @wayfare_foods so you’re first to know when they drop and where. Lots of things spotted @natprodexpo west today in Anaheim, California! 🎉 @rittersport_usa told me the plant based chocolates are all coming back to stores with a new flavor added! @sweetlorens had some exciting new things and tons of other products and it was only the first day!
