The holidays are known for over-the-top treats, and now your morning coffee can get in on the fun! A brand-new Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes coffee creamer has hit shelves, and the best part? It’s accidentally vegan!
I spotted this new seasonal creamer at Walmart but isn’t exclusive to them as I first posted it as a fan find found at Lowe’s Foods in North Carolina. So if you’re looking to track it down, check the refrigerated coffee creamer section next time you shop as it might be at more regional retailers as well as Walmart.

Made by the Flora Food Group
Flora Food Group is a global leader in plant-based foods, rebranded from Upfield in 2024. They own several well-known vegan brands, including Violife (plant-based cheeses and creamers), Flora (dairy-free spreads), Becel (heart-healthy plant-based margarines), and Country Crock (vegan butters and spreads). Across their portfolio, Flora focuses on innovation, using ingredients like lentil protein to create creamy, dairy-free alternatives that appeal to a wide range of dietary needs.

Ingredients Look Close To Violife’s New Creamers
Is this just a Violife creamer rebranded with a different flavor profile? Maybe. The ingredients look almost identical and the use of lentil protein is both unusual and a big tell. So what are the differences?
- Base: Both use water, lentil protein, and canola oil for creaminess.
- Stabilizers: Both contain Polysorbate 60, Dipotassium Phosphate, and Gellan Gum.
- Flavoring: Violife uses natural flavors; Little Debbie adds artificial flavors.
- Sweeteners: Violife relies on sugar only; Little Debbie uses sugar + sucralose.
- Protein order: Violife lists lentil protein higher, likely meaning more protein content, while Little Debbie lists it lower.
- This combination of sugar, sucralose, and artificial flavors likely gives the Little Debbie creamer a taste closer to the Little Debbie tree cakes.

So what does it taste like?
So, I cannot say whether or not this tastes anything like Little Debbie Christmas Tree cakes as I never had them as I’ve been vegan since 1994. I will say that to me, it’s tastes like a really good canned vanilla frosting but in liquid form. I haven’t added to my coffee yet but I can’t wait to try it in my morning latte.
Where to find it.
- Walmart: where I spotted it at a neighborhood market store but it’s not exclusive there. Use their app or website to check availability.
- It also has been spotted at ShopRite, Lowe’s Foods, and will most likely be at other regional grocery stores soon.
- Look for it in the refrigerated coffee creamer section.
If you’re a fan of seasonal creamers and want a vegan-friendly holiday option, this one is worth picking up in my opinion. It’s exciting to see Flora Group the same company behind Violife, bringing lentil protein technology into festive products like this.
