Slutty Vegan has officially landed in Florida and we had to check it out.
The new location just opened in Brandon, FL, (Tampa bay area) making it their first-ever spot in the Sunshine State, and while the menu is currently limited, the energy is definitely not. It’s 100% vegan fast food with the volume turned up.
What We Ordered:
We went for the Fussy Hussy a plant-based burger loaded with pickles, vegan cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, and their signature Slut Sauce. We also grabbed the Chick’n Bacon Ranch Wrap, which gave me serious KFC vibes from the breading on the plant based chickn.
Every sandwich or wrap comes with Slutty Fries and a drink. No upcharges or combos to figure out as it’s all included, which we appreciated. Prices range from $12-$18 which isn’t that out of line with chains like Five Guys and others.
The Vibe
Just like their other locations, the Brandon spot brings big energy. It was quite crowded and we got there 15 minutes after they opened. The team got the crowd excited after a bit (nothing compares to my first visit to their Atlanta location where they called people “virgins!” if it was their first time and it was my birthday, so I got a special shout out and song) but I think they’ll get there and the line moved pretty quickly. Food takes a little time but it’s made to order. No fries sitting around getting dried out. If you’ve ever wanted to experience Slutty Vegan without flying to Atlanta, this is your chance.
Worth the Trip?
If you’re anywhere near the Tampa Bay area or just looking for an excuse to road trip for food, this one’s worth adding to your list. While the full menu isn’t available yet, what’s there is solid, satisfying, and full of Slutty Vegan’s signature flavor and attitude.
