It’s Sam’s Club’s 40th birthday and this a limited edition accidentally vegan birthday popcorn. Oreo finally succumbed to peer pressure and named their s’mores Oreo Sm’oreo!
This is onion-believable 🧅🌱
Trader Joe’s just dropped vegan onion flowers with dipping sauce and they’re basically a Bloomin’ Onion dupe. Yes, the box says it’s vegan! I’ve been told it comes with a sauce but can’t confirm.
👉 Check their freezer aisle this week before they disappear!
Big thanks to @traderjoesobsessed for the pic and news! 🙏🏼🧡
Just found Aldi’s plant-based heavy whipping cream again! 👀
If you’ve been missing Trader Joe’s version and have an Aldi nearby, you might want to try it. Ingredients seem identical to me. I hadn’t seen it for months then it was just there again. It’s not technically an “Aldi Find” according to the shelf tag but seems to come and go sporadically.
Also spotted some other fun things. Swipe for ingredients. 👉🏼
On a side note, just read that ALDI is entering Colorado with a five-year plan that kicks off with 50 stores in the first two years. Not sure where there exactly but good news for folks in that state. 🏔️
Sunday cereals edition! 🥣
Spotted some new cereals (and some new @daveskillerbread bars) at @walmart stores!
@annieshomegrown also has a new original cookie crunch flavor (think Cookie Crisp) but my store was out.
Commercial cereals often contain vitamin D3 which is usually sourced from lanolin which comes from sheep’s wool unfortunately but these do not contain it. Sometimes special flavor drops don’t for some reason when the regular flavors do contain it.
💬 Comment LINK or look at my highlights for my popular “sneaky ingredients that aren’t vegan” blog post.
Swipe for ingredients photos and use the Walmart app or website for availability near you.
Now, do you eat it dry or with milk and what’s your favorite vegan non-dairy milk you prefer?
Posting a few PR goodies I received this month gifted from these brands, but the opinions are my own, and this is not a paid promotion. Having said that, I’m adding the paid promotion tag as IG gets twitchy about it.
As I always say, everyone has their own “good” so try not to yuck someone’s yum please. It’s best to always qualify your opinion with “For me…” rather than stating something assuming everyone will feel the same as you. We can often forget that. 👍🏼
First up is the @emilyinparis collab with @planetoat that’s been spotted already at ShopRite stores, Kroger supermarkets, and others. I wasn’t sure about a white chocolate raspberry flavor but I personally loved this. This is going to sound weird, but I have a taste memory when I was young that white chocolate Easter bunnies tasted like this lol. Like a slight raspberry flavor. I could totally be wrong but that’s what the flavor reminds me of. I’ve had it in hot and cold coffee drinks and am smitten.
Next is @sundaysupperfoods items. I’ve tried these all before at expos and really loved them especially the mozzie sticks. I know the lasagnas are at Fresh Market near me but not sure where the mozzie sticks and penne might be just yet. Love that they’ve partnered with @elmhurst1925 and @liveabbots too!
Last is a limited edition @spongebob collab with @fruitriot on a sour pineapple frozen fruit treat. For me, these are fine but my personal favorite will always be their classic coated grapes. Not sure where these will be yet but keep your eyes peeled.
Thanks to the brands who sent these over. 🧡🙏🏼
🚨BREAKING CHEWS!!
Goldfish just launched NEW Hot Buffalo Pretzels that are vegan-friendly and hitting store shelves now! This looks like it may be their first savory flavor to not contain milk!
There’s also a new Honey Mustard flavor, but that isn’t vegan because it contains real honey.
💬 Comment “LINK” for the full story on my blog.
🙏🏼🧡 Big thanks to @poodles_pizza_pedals for the in-store shelfie (found @giant supermarket but should be launching at many major retailers).
Some Trader Joe’s new items! 🛒
Been looking for the pistachio spread an my store said it was only west coast stores for now then I saw on Reddit that some said they were pulled due to quality control issues so I have no idea.
Also, did you hear that TJs is being sued by Uncrustables?! Smuckers is claiming they’re too similar in shape, design, and packaging, including:
• a round, crustless, crimp-ed edge sandwich
• a similar shade of blue on the box
• and imagery resembling Uncrustables branding
I felt they were gone for a bit and maybe were pulled but that’s not the case. What do you think of this? Are they right to come after them? They honestly do this kind of copycat branding all the time so maybe it’s catching up to them.
Tried any of these yet? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
